Thought of the Day: Holy Places…

DEVOTIONAL Holy Places

Read Romans 8:19 Dash 16; Christianity is holiest site – born-again believer.

Last May president Donald Trump made in mideast trip during which, according to the news, he visited each of the “holiest “sites in the world three greatest revisions: Mecca is one; the western Wailing Wall -Judaism, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher – Christianity. While world religions including “Christian, require holy sites, buildings, artifacts, etc. for true biblical Christianity, and most holy side is the soul of the born –again believer. This is because at the end willing of the Holy Spirit, which takes place immediately upon being born again through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the presence of the Lord that imparts holiness, and the Lord is present in the soul of a believer through with Holy Spirit, without the Spirit of the Lord no person, place, or thing is holy.

The born – again believer is “positionally, “though not always “practically, “holy”. The Bible is very clear on this: the apostle Paul in writing to the church at Corinth said: “what? Know thee not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you’re not on your own?  For you I bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are gods. Plus this is especially true when believers are assembled together in a biblical New Testament church setting.

In view of the above every born –agin believer has the responsibility to display holiness in his or her life so that others may see Christ! “Follow peace with all man, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: “(Hebrews 12:14).
